- providing education and care services
- providing you with information about our childcare centres and the education and care we provide

- managing applications from individuals seeking to work with us
We will only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for us to fulfil our functions or activities. From time to time we may send you marketing information related to our education and care services. We will provide you with a simple means by which you may request not to receive direct marking communications and will not send you materials if you have asked us not to. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails immediately, if required.

In most cases we will collect personal information from you directly. We collect your information through our standard forms, including enrolment forms, via our websites (including tour booking forms, enrolment enquiry forms and event registration forms), via social networking sites, through written communication with you such as email or through talking with you, including when we talk over the telephone.
Use of tracking technologies:
Curiosity Tree Early Educations’ Websites use tracking technologies such as cookies or web beacons. Cookies make your interactions with the website faster and as convenient as possible. These tracking technologies do not themselves personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s browser. If are uncomfortable with cookies, you can accept or decline cookies at any time by modifying your browser settings. Web beacons allow us to count users who have visited certain pages and to generate statistics about how our site is used. They are not used to access personally identifiable information.

How you can complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles and how we’ll deal with the complaint:
You can email us at info@curiositytree.com.au to lodge a complaint if you believe we have breached our obligations with regards to Australian Privacy Principles.
Our team will investigate the allegations and notify you of the findings. Should the investigation identify a failure in any of the systems or processes for collecting, processing, and disclosing personal information, it will be reported to the relevant authorities including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). We will take appropriate actions to fix the issues and inform any other individuals that may have been impacted.
If you remain concerned that we have not complied with your legal rights or applicable privacy laws, you may make a formal complaint with the OAIC.
We do not disclose your personal information to other people or organisations without your explicit permission.
